Open Kitchen

I was on a serious cooking run last week and it's continued into this week.  I decided that I was grabbing convenient food and not making homemade food nearly enough, so some structured menu planning took place.  I had a plethora of untried recipes to choose from, the hard part was narrowing it down.

Last week, there was lemon rice soup, Moroccan chicken pitas, and shaved asparagus pizza in the mix.


This week started off with dinner with my sister Hannah and her bf.  We had muenster mac 'n cheese followed by these lovely lemon blueberry cupcakes.  So yummy!  Even though mine never turn out quite as cute as Annie's.  I will blame some of that on my iPhone...


The rest of the week looks just as good.  Tonight is chicken tortilla pie with homemade green salsa, tomorrow night is artichoke and fontina stuffed turkey burgers with sweet potato fries followed by lemon chiffon truffles (with my sister Becca and her bf), Wednesday is beef and broccoli, Thursday is chicken fried rice with bok choy, Friday is Cuban braised pork, and Saturday is lobster ravioli.  Feel free to hit me up for a free meal.  I'm always up for sharing!
